Went to the Sign and Digital Show at the NEC in Birmingham today.
We had created an HD video display for Digital Print Innovations based in Pride Park in Derby, and were curious to see how many other companies would be interested in videos on their stands.

Whilst there were quite a few video displays, not many actually showed the printers in any detail; the angle seeming to be more conceptual. However from talking to visitors, they seemed baffled by a lot of video there, and had travelled down specifically to see these amazing machines in action.

Our video shows views of the printing mechanism that you couldn’t see without some risk to yourself. These machines can weigh in at over 15 tons, and have powerful motors driving massive print heads. 320m2 an hour in full colour is not unusual!

We now have some solid leads and a few appointments to discuss video already booked. I guess the idea of a 10KG flat screen over a 15 ton monster to transport is quite tempting. Not least, these videos can be played in their business premises foyer, on their YouTube channel for SEO, and can also be sent ahead to prospective customers.
